Well i have had so many issues with this bumper its rediculous for what i paid for it. Nothing seems to align correctly on this thing. Sending an email to jcr as i type this. This is just too much fabbing on my part to make something fit that should have fit from the start.

Tell me about it. My JCR bumper with tire swing didn't line up for ****. Had to use large washers to shim it. I don't understand even with the new bumpers they are making the same mistake.

I plan to post a full review of the bumper once i actually get it installed. Seems im one of a select few if only one on the board with this actual cut and fold bumper. Im pretty sure im going to need the nutserts they shorted me to do the drivers side 1/4 panel armor because i cant fit my hand back behind that panel at all because of the bracing back there.

Well another few hours of getting everything bolted up yesterday. If i had a full day and not a couple hours here and there i would have had this knocked out already.

This bumper has no up and down adjustment or side to side as advertised. Once the frame reinforcement plate is installed it has a destin place to be and cant move at all Now you can move it down by stacking washers under the frame reinforcement bracket but with their supplied bolts that wouldnt even be an option. Driver side armor and frame reinforcement fit perfect. Passenger side is just way off but i fixed it to make it work. All i have left to do is drill the 4 holes a side for the 1/4 armor and bolt it up then its done.

Even though the bumper itself looks good, there is just no way i would ever recommend this bumper or JCR in general after this. Day 2 with no reply email to my issues so far so we shall see.

A few pics of just the bumper on so far

Got everything completed last night. After some pounding some prying and clamping we made it all fit like it should have from the start.

anything from JCR? I guarantee they just lost a customer here... I'm not risking my money on them if this is all as bad as you say.

I've always had great service with JCR. I know they have been slammed the last week or two over there and I think they were closed for a week also, but I'm sure they will take care of you.

Was thinking of buying a JCR front bumper, reconsidering now. Let us know how they handle it.

Great build by the way. Videos are awesome.

That bumper WAS on my possible purchase list (since the tailbone isn't made anymore) but after reading the hell you've gone through - it's not on my list anymore.

Sorry it went down that way.

Well there front bumper may be better made and designed i dunno. MY father recently picked up a 99xj and was going to go with their bumpers front and rear but has since changed his mind lol.

Oh and thanks!

For anyone looking for pics from last ride i dont really have any. MAy have a couple vids from other drivers. We decided to hit the trails and not stop to take many pics simply to see more of the park. I also damaged my passenger side rear spring. Passenger rear sits about 3" lower. Got new springs but need to get a shackle because its bent.
