Im going to use bds poly bushings in the ends but no real "flex" joint like a Johnny. I will rely on the tubing to twist on the threads as the axle articulates. Im gonna set it up with no jam nut and the insert threaded nearly all the way in, maybe 2 full threads from bottomed out.

The end at the axle will be fixed, well it will have bushings. But no adjustment there, only at the x member.

boring out the rod ends to accept my poly bushings. im boring these holes to 1.485", my bushing measures 1.487", so this should make a nice fit. no slop.

here you can see the adj. rod end i made threaded into the lower link. the thread u used for this was M32 fine thread. i already had these inserts and a tap to thread the arms. that tap was really expensive and if i hadnt had that i wouldve choosen a different thread.

here you can see it propped up on the crossmember on my workbench. starting to take shape! im starting with these babys 6' long. they were already cut that lenght in the scrap, and that will give me plenty to trim off. i would rather have an extra 2' than fall .250'' short.

i just cut some 1/2'' cold roll to make my lower arm mounting brackets for the x member. but now i cant decide how to profile them. simple, or fancy.

Cut out my brackets, nothing to fancy. Just a radius to match my rod end radius.
