I just sat here and went through all 13 pages. This is where I aspire to be. Just for an FY-me, if it weren't for the crawling would you have been very happy with the 31's? I live in Georgia in an area where we don't have much rock; just rutted out dirt. I'm thinking the 31's will keep my gas mileage in check (I do tons of highway miles).

I loved my 31's, they were a nice happy medium between trail running and daily driving. I only went to the 33's because of the types of stuff I run started getting harder (think Moab Utah). My son now runs my 31's. I think they'd be a good fit for the terrain in your area.

Default Removing the trim

Hey man, I have an XJ just like yours. I've been wanting to take the trim off and paint my grille for a while.

How did you remove the trim?
Did you paint under the trim when you removed it?
What did you paint the grille with?
