so I've been on the forum since i bought my jeep back in 2011 so i finally decided to make a build thread of what I've done and what I'm currently working on. So here we go from day one

I bought my xj from my dads friend for $4500. It is a 2000 cherokee classic and had 116,000 miles on it, no rust and had never seen dirt

so within a week of owning it the xj was no longer a virgin of dirt and mud
i took it out in the trails behind my house but unfortunately only have 1 picture

so the first mods were installed over the summer of 2011
picked up a set of blackrock D-window and 255/70/r16 firestone destination tires
and a yakima roof rack
the first thing i did when i got back from vacation was go play in the mud

there were really no mods done until summer of 2012 which is when i got my rough country 3in lift

the lift went in without a single problem and took about 2.5 hours to do in my dads friends shop

the jeep made it out to my college and after a month i found some jeep friends

in October of 2012 me and some friends made a trip to rausch creek and the cherokee performed great over all a fun day and best of all nothing broke

shortly after this trip a 4x4 club was form at my college hers a picture of our first event with Penn College 4x4 club and did some wheeling afterwards but i didnt take my jeep out

as a late graduation gift i got a jcr offroad front bumper and had it powder coated black and did some flexing

back of at school after winter break we got some and decided to show off in front of some girls in the parking lot and also made a pole



i also went snow wheeling with my friend it was a good time till i broke an engine support bolt

in the spring pct4x4 had its first rausch creek trip. it was really fun but extremely cold

to finish off the spring semester one of the frats had a car show unfortunately they didnt have a jeep/offroad class so we stuck in the mopar class with nice a$$ chargers and challengers it was still a good time though

end of august i returned back up to school and a couple month into the semester pct 4x4 went to a car show and made quite the entrance

so our next trip was to eagle valley offroaders mud and rock event it was a good time but i overheated and need to get off the trail other than that the jeep performed amazing

sorry i was very vague on the progress of the build do to losing photos but now to present day updates
our club adviser for our 4x4 club got new tire for his rubicon a month ago so i asked about his old tires. he told me i could have then so now i have a set of 33inch goodyear mtr with kevlar that are in decent shape. after that i ordered a set of bw flat flares and they came last week but i just got home from school tonight for winter break. hopefully they will be going on before Christmas.
