Damn, that's looks good!! I'm tempted to run 35's, but it seems like 33's would be so much more friendly on the street and less stress on everything offroad. Do you have experience with both sizes or is this your first time running 35's?

Give dave a call tomorrow and I'm sure he will ship some out asap.
Theres definitely a lot more stress on everything with 35's vs 33's.
I havent run both on this jeep, I went to 35's from 30x9.5's. Only time will tell how it holds up. I don't have a heavy foot when it comes to wheeling, but thats not to say I won't be putting it through its paces.
If I start breaking axles/ components I will be going to 1-tons.

Just the one for the upper link on the axle side.
Speaking of which, I either got a bad joint or the snap ring in that joint wasn't seated all the way. The front axle had play back and forth, got looking under there and the snap ring is no longer in place and the joint is separated.
I'm thinking the snap ring must not have been seated all the way and when there was load put on the axle it came apart. Looks like I'll be pulling that upper link and hopefully it is just a matter of putting it back together.
If not it looks like I'll be buying a rebuild kit from curry.

Took the joint apart, reinstalled the snap ring and made sure it was 100% seated. I don't think it will come back apart and it didn't hurt the joint at all.
Im getting it aligned tomorrow, which will hopefully fix the drivability. I drove it for about 10 miles today and it rides nice but it wanders all over the damn place. Curious to see what my caster is at actually at. I used a digital angle finder to set it initially, I also set the toe to about 1/16th in, and the steering wheel is pretty darn straight.
If the alignment doesn't fix the issue then I'm at a loss as to what may be causing it. The ball joints are new, steering is new, steering box is new, track bar is new and the only thing that hasn't been replaced are the hubs which look like they have been replaced semi recently and have zero play. I may wind up putting a steering stabilizer on it if the wandering issue isn't resolved by an actual alignment.
Im also getting a vibration around 45-50 which may be a tire balance issue (using balance beads not weights) or the front driveshaft. Going to get one ordered from adams as soon as i get measurements, the stock shaft is maxed out at the moment.

Nice, the install is pretty straight forward, let me know if you have any questions. I may be able to offer some insight.

Hmm good to know. I have it at work with me today, going to put it on the alignment rack and double check all the suspension and get an actual alignment.
As Jeepology said, it seems to be a common thing with MTRs. I have the same problem with either one or two of mine. If I have the tires that balance well up front, it's as smooth as can be. After doing a tire rotation, I get vibration in the steering wheel at around 55 mph. I've taken them back multiple times to get balanced again and I can't get rid of it.
Im also running no sway bar or steering stabilizer which could explain the wandering.
This is a bad vibration through the steering wheel. Im not going to say death wobble because its not uncontrollable but it happens at 45-50 and then subsides at slower speeds. I almost wonder if one of the balance bead bags hasnt broken open yet, or im terrible at reading a tape measure and the alignment is way off.

I just wanted to give you a heads up. Love your build btw. I've been lurking in your thread since the beginning.

Very nice. Made it to work and a success on the alignment! As far as your wobble goes, mine does the same thing. When I put in the Bilstein steering shock, it took 90% of it away. Now I can rarely feel it. But I think my issue is a worn gear box. Yours is new so I hope it doesnt have any play.

I think 35's are just too big and heavy for this little axle and steering box.
