5 separate ribs = 5 Cab lights
Mounted the center light flush with the start of the ribs. the 1st set of lights are set 2" back from the front and the 2nd set of lights is set 4" back from the front.
The lights are grounded to themselves via a ring terminal and the mounting screw.
I ran the power wires through a grommet and daisy-chained them together and tied them into the parking light wire coming out of the switch.
I RTV'd the wiring holes and the mounting holes to hopefully avoid any leaks, guess I will find out for sure since its going to rain tomorrow.
Side glamour shot of them installed.
Front glamour shot of the lights.
I will try and get a night shot of the lights on and working tonight.
Love the pics I like to be able to see how they look before I go for it.

However I am upgrading my receiver soon and will try to get some pics during that time.
It really is as simple as you think.
I purchased these speaker adapter harnesses
Keep in mind when ordering these they are sold in pairs - i.e. you need to order quantity 2 to do all 4 speakers in your Jeep.
Here's the I am upgrading to.

Do you have any pics of the speakers installed? Would love to see how they look before I pull the trigger on mine. Thanks for the info about the harness I would have completely missed that step!

Must've been napping when that happened, and I don't really want to re-remove the door panels unless I have to.
But believe me the 6-1/2" speakers fit perfectly you just need to re-drill the new mounting hole locations(not hard).
I did not use the included speaker grill covers as they would not allow the door panel to sit flush.
The harnesses I suggested are not required to install aftermarket speakers, they just make it easier than cutting and splicing wires.
Here is a pic of the 6-1/2" JVC speaker I used

Pioneer DEH-X6800BT Bluetooth receiver
the center trim panel comes off very easily
Just apply the e-brake and move the gearshift all the way back to 1-2
That will give you enough room to pop off the center console trim by prying out gently from the bottom corners.
I chose to use quick disconnect connectors, since I have a plethora of these connectors due to a ebay misorder.
this part is entirely up to you how you want to connect the stereos wiring harness to the vehicle specific adapter harness.
Since this receiver has Bluetooth and phone connect technologies, it requires a mic to be mounted somewhere in the vehicle.
The mic was included with the receiver along with a piece of double-sided tape, I chose to mount mine to the steering column cover.
There was also an optional sun visor mount.
There is plenty of mic wire included, I wrapped mine up and stored it behind the receiver.
