Sorry for the million questions. I hate to be a pain I just like as much info before I tackle a project so I don't hit any unexpected road bumps! The speaker harness adapter you gave the link for. Did u use that on ur install with those JVC speakers? I know u said its not needed for aftermarket but wonder if u used it anyway. Then the last question u said u used a quick disconnect wiring for the headunit install. Do u have a link to any of these?

Questions are how we learn - I don't mind you asking.
I feel the same way knowing as much as I can before I start something too.
Yes I did use the speaker adapter harnesses to install my speakers.
It makes installation much faster/easier.(no splicing wires)
These are the quick disconnects I purchased a few years ago and used to install my head unit - LINK
Keep in mind that these are the style that you build/put together for a custom length wire.
If you don't want the hassle or have the experience building these connections try these instead - LINK
They include 10cm(approx. 4in) of wire per connection so you don't have to build the whole connector
Here is a YouTube video I found on making these quick disconnects:
150db train horn arrived today
http://www.ebay.com/itm/381364658195?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT mounted the electric compressor and horn bracket to the firewall
wired the horn with an in-line kill switch and a momentary push button.
mounted the horn body/diaphragm
installed the horn tubes
everything nicely tucked in the corner of the engine bay
I plan on painting the horn tubes black once it warms up.

I have a 3 trumpet air horn with a 2 liter air tank. How does yours do without a tank?
yeah, I know I just didn't know how the reaction speed, and volume compared to a tank powered horn since the tank horn just opens a valve and 125psi comes out, but with yours it has to spool up the compressor.

it has a fast reaction time from the moment the button is pushed the horn sounds almost instantly.
not currently I don't think, I can check my phone or I could get some tomorrow if I can't find any. I have the compressor behind my sub box, the trumpets are right in front of the gas tank, and the cigarette lighter is the switch so it can only be honked when the lighter is in. If I don't want it pressed on accident just pull the lighter out of the socket.
The center electric fan motor hub contacted the water pump pulley and was destroyed.
I had a feeling I was "poking the tiger" with the close distance between the fan and the engine.
Luckily I had my old 9" electric fan and swapped the motor over to the undamaged 10" fan shroud.
I mounted the fan motor to the inside of the shroud to give me an additional 3/4" spacing.
I also added L-brackets to the shroud for added strength at the mounting points.
I feel much more comfortable with this setup
The brackets are secured from the inside and spaced using washers to give me proper bolt spacing.
Obviously the original plastic mounting tabs broke off when the fan contacted the engine.
