Default Dual oil pressure & dual temperature sensors

Dual oil pressure and temperature sensor setup.

1/8" NPT oil pressure tee - installed with sensor supplied with oil pressure gauge

OEM thermostat housing sensor

3/8" NPT tee - installed with sensor supplied with temperature sensor gauge

Dual gauges installed temporarily onto the dash

The secondary temperature gauge allows me to monitor the temperature before the thermostat, while the dash temp gauge monitors the engine.
The secondary oil pressure gauge and the dash oil pressure gauge read very similar.

Same thing I had to put my key in on position and then I hooked up switch and ran it into Jeep. I didn't mount mine all pretty like yours yet but at least I can start it now without having to pop hood everytime and use a jumper wire. Think people look at me strange when I start my jeep from under the hood lol.

Defiantly a issue I need to resolve but in the meantime it works.
I kept cardboard and a screw driver in the back of mine for a couple weeks and just crawled under and shorted the solenoid to power...I got a few odd looks too...lol

Just my 2 pennies and observation, I did this exact setup on my 99, and it caused the sensor to read low enough that the E Fan would not kick on at the proper temperature. My engine was running at 225, but the guage was reading 190, thus not kicking the fan on. Swapped it back to stock, and the fan kicked on when i should. I ended up running an in line sensor with the Hot hose going to the heater core, and the 2 guages then read within 5 degrees, with my inline reading hotter.

Ordered a Trinity V2 Fan Controller from Nickintimedesign.

Mounted the 3 fan relays and the TFC wiring block on the engine bay cowl.

My triple fan setup

TFC mounted on dash

This is by far the best and most advanced fan controller I've ever used.

Default Update

So glad you updated your thread when you did, I have been considering some kind of snorkel and I think the hum-v set-up will foot the bill. Just wondering if it's working well for you?

I've had no issues what so ever with my over-the-engine hood snorkel set up.
Highly recommend this mod!
