Hi

Thought I would finaly share my build thread all the way from Norway (Europe)

I bought the car last summer. It is a 1995 mod., 4.0L automatic.
About 3 weeks after I bought the car and it got stolen, but with som suuper good work by the Norwegian police, the car was returned to be a week later

The following things are going to be done:

1. Remove all the rust under the car and all the rust on the body of the car.

2. Remove the front and back axel, and the steering nuckles, sand blaste everything and get it free for rust, treat it with an anti-rust paint

3. After all rust is removed from under the car , treat it with an anti-rust paint (black color, see attachment 2)

4. Take out the seats and carpet inside the car and remove rust on the floor and inside of the car. And also paint with anti-rust.

5. Re-paint the whole car in the same color as it is now (blue metallic)
3 layers of blue metallic paint, and 3 layers of clear paint.

6. Put sun-film/foli on the back windows (5 windows)

7. Changes all the polyutharane bushings on the front and back suspension.

8. Install new 3" lift kit. Skyjacker

9. Install new manifold to the engine. Borla

10. Install new head lights. Rampage

11. Install Warrior 3" tubular nerf bars.

12. Install new adjustable track bar to the front suspension.

13. Install new rust free break lines to front and back breaks.

14. Install 3 new black KC Rally 800 lights to the front bumper.

15. Install flexy flars on the existing flaers.

16. Install new steering stabilizer to front suspension.

17. Install transfer case lowering kit. Skyjacker

18. Install new 4 new IPF 968 lights to the Kargo Master roof rack.

19. Install new motor room lighting.

20. Install new throttle body. Hesco

21. Install new air filter. K/N

22. Install new back light guards.

23. Change the engine oil

24. Change the oil in both front and back axle.

25. Change fluid in the transfer case.

26. Change break fluid.

26. Install new coupe lights.

27. Install new Teraflex rear disc breaks

28. Install Hood louvers

29. New MT Classic lock wheel + New Black Rock rims for winter tires, 15x8

30. New 31" BFG Mud A/T tires

29. Do an all new black leather on the seats and door panels

Plus a lot of other small cosmetic things... I'll post pic.


The motor is getting the following upgrade:

Complete dissemblance of engine and cleaning.

Renewal of:

Overhaul Gasket & Seal Kit
Oil Filter
Ring Set
Push Rods
Timing Cover with Gasket
Vibration Damper - Harmonic Balancer
Engine Mounts
Standard Main Bearing Set
Bearing Set, Connecting Rod
Standard Camshaft Bearing Set
Water Pump
Cylinder Head Bolt
Oil pump
Thermometer
Timing chain+ sprocket

There was some problems when insatlling the K/N air filter and Hesco throttle body spacer...a little space issue..

The interior is also getting a makeover
All the seats will be built up again and custom made new covers in leather and textile. The inside door panels will get the same treatment, plus the two front door panels will get a Jeep logo
And of course new carpet!
