Nice build man! I just started on a 231/300 doubler myself and have been wondering where to get the adapter shaft. Thanks for showing photos of the mods you made to the case parts.

There's so many projects that I'm juggling right now. Setting up the OBA using the sanden compressor, the 231/300 doubler, and upcoming axle swap.

In case u are wondering what kind of axles..

Man... finally got around to checkin' your builds. Glad I did. Love the progress man. Very cool that you've saved some jeeps from the crusher. Kinda skimmed through the last few pages. Do you still have the silver XJ?

Nope. Sold it and used the money to buy the 5 speed and had money left over to fix it up and buy a set of built waggy 44's for this jeep

Yayy... The axle bridge arrived... Black Phoenix-image-511892290.jpg
Now I gotta machine a chunk of steel and weld it over the bridge to accept the Rock Krawler spherical joint. And I'm golden

Nice! You've got some good fab skills man. I wish I had access to the machinery you do.

What size lift and wheels do you have on it now. What lift is it?
I liked the jeep when it had the white panels, it looked like a panda.

My 3 link set up has the upper link on the drivers side and the waggy 44 doesn't have the cast mount on top of the pumpkin. So with the axle bridge and this piece, I'm able to retain my 3 link set up without any serious modification.

Drilled, then bored the hole out to 1.800

Black Phoenix-image-3348807028.jpg

Gonna cut the corners and mill the bottom to fit in the slot on the bridge

Black Phoenix-image-441629225.jpg

Next thing is to drill and tap the hole on top for a grease zerk.
