Yeah I do. The stock Giant wheelset can be used tubeless, so I will just stick with that. At this point I make payments on my bike and try not to break stuff. Once I get in a shop full time I will be trading in my anthem for an Anthem X 29, hopefully a level 1 or 0. (unless I get a race only hardtail 29)

That Anthems a nice ride. I like riding the full suspensions and the Intense but there's just something about bombing a trail on a hardtail that I can't explain.
I was looking to replace the Hopper a couple years ago but pickins were slim on hardtails other than moving to a 29er so I decided to rebuild. I'm glad I did and it allowed me to keep it somewhat retro but drop in some new technology.

Is there an alternative?
Going to be traveling to more this year. Lorton, Shafer farm, patapsco etc. Should be a good year. Dust her off and lube her up.

Pedal bob? ? ? ? It doesn't exist on this or my anthem. I have good tastes in suspension designs.
the whole drivetrain is on the linkage, so it is almost a hardtail of you stand up and crank. It is really cool and has an awesome ride. For 20 buck and 29lbs I got a pretty good deal
