Thanks Green. Just a few more things to address and it will be pretty capable build.

Crawled under the jeep today and snapped a pic of my nasty soon to be replaced Z linkage. Decided on the Novak Cable Setup which only replaces the Z gate.

I was looking for that write up on Monday before placing the order for the Novak. I had seen it pop up over the holidays cause a couple guys up in MD were sourcing parts. Oh well. Thanks for the info Doc

Nice looking rig. I just bought a 2000 Limited last week in a maroon color. I'll be lifting mine as well. Please post pics so I can see what she looks like when you are making the transformation

My linkage looks the same! Does yours rattle too? Very interested in the Novak cable setup. I will probably be going with that as well and would love to know/see detailed pics of your experience with it.

I really considered the **** shifter variant, but it's quite a bit of extra work that I'm not sure I feel like dealing with--and I don't want to have to hack the console all up to use it.

Everyone has pointed me to the BSFAB link, and yeah that would be great but not everyone has the ability or patience to do that project (or the torch, welder, etc)

Not sure if it rattles but it sure doesn't work a damn. I like the idea of replacing the whole assembly as well and then I started looking at all the work involved, then read some not so great reviews and came to the conclusion I need to reconsider and find a alternate solution.

I unboxed it the other day and its a solid setup, HD brackets, hardware and cable. The install is straight forward.

I'm trying to find some garage time to do the shifter and the bump stop installs but it might be a couple weeks.

Here's a look at the kit. The other stuff is my front and rear bumps

Wow, looks pretty simple. Not much to it! Definitely going to be a project for me here soon. I'm trying to determine what order to do my projects in lol. Rust repair, rhino-line, bushwacker flat flares, gears, lockers, tires & wheels, got most of my lift parts already...i suppose i'll soon be ready for my own build thread!

Looks great man! I bet you will love the shifter. I went the BS fab way and made the linkage with a gm shift arm. works great to be honest but I don't think it will beat the feel of the novak! It just compliments your all around clean setup!

Thanks Bro. I'm looking forward to having 4WD. Getting razzed by the locals for my mall crawler isn't funny anymore.

That's about right on the money on my timeline. I was on the fence about doing the flares possibly earlier, so that the fenders are all set for the rhino line...i guess it wouldn't much matter though.

Oh, and I forgot some things. Some are simple and will be done sooner :-)

-SYE, probably right around lift time
-Windshield reseal (happening monday)
-New Diff covers (looking at the SOLID ones currently)
-Front winch bumper & winch
-Rear bumper w/ tire carrier
-LEDs for map lights
-Remove molding (will happen w/ rhino line because I'm doing the bottom part of the doors too)

I'm ADDICTED!

All parts on order are finally in. Last pieces to arrive were AGR pump and steering box. Dropping off on Sunday to wrap up the last of winters upgrades.
