After this visit I'll be able to. Big upgrades will slow down till summer giving me a chance to catch up on some smaller items.

Id be nice if there were more wheeling options closer.

Still having problems shifting to 4x4 even with the new Novak cable setup so we are trying to figure out the problem with the tcase.

In the mean time bumps and fenders are all sorted out. No more stuffing wheels.

Pulled the t-case and found rust on some parts. Not completely done but enough to cause the issues I'm having with shifting. Going to try a break in period but just in case I picked up another 231 with SYE to drop in if my patience wears thin.

How do you get rust inside a transfer case you ask? Well it appears to PO got stuck in water, let it sit for awhile, then didn't change the fluid.

Between this and RTVing the thermostat into the housing I'm fairly certain we are at the end of the redneck repairs.

Hopefully that takes care of the problem.

I'm sure if we look long enough, we can find another redneck repair somewhere. Next time I'm over I'm looking.

Funny I've run tubes in the tubeless wheels since I had that bike built. Haven't ever had a problem or reason to make the change.

Hose works good after I replaced all the hardware. Don't think they could have made it any cheaper.

I am doing it for less rolling resistance, lighter weight, and getting a thorn in the tube 6 miles in to a 27 mile race really sucks.

The bontrager wheel set wasn't my first choice but they've been rock solid for 8 years. I'd at least give them a look. You racing single track I take it?
