So i finally got around to making an account and starting my build thread even though i have had my lift on for some time now.

I started with this, bone stock 2001 xj classic 180,xxx miles, over all very clean car except for some front end damage. The guy i bought it form got it from a retired couple who toed it along behind there RV

So i found me some used JK rims with 34" BFG ATs on them with about 30% tread. Got them at a tow yard in Portland in the middle of the night for 100$ i asked no questions ha. had to remove the plastiy dip and rustolum them flat black again. **** plasti dip.

So i got started with the lift a litle later in the day around 2pm thinking i could knock it out real quick....... i ran into just about every problem imaginable, pretty much nothing wanted to come off and i fought every bolt. finally was done around 3am the next morning. yeah i dident go to work that day ha.

thanks I have done quite a bit more to here sence then. More updates to come.

 

Finnaly got my jeep commander with HID projectors swap done. took me well over a year to get in done. let me know what you guys think.

Nice! Ill be honest though, the commander lights are kinda Meh for me. Just not liking it. But everything else looks great and what an awesome find with the tires!

 

Thanks, also now she is sitting on 35 BFG m/t with 15" pro comp wheels.

 

Not crazy about the headlights but I give you props for being different than every other xj out there. Nice work
