Hi all, first post and my first Jeep! I have been looking for a project 4x4 to use for hunting so I picked up a 98 Cherokee Classic with 195k miles for $3500. Its all stock and I am quickly learning so much my head is about to explode.

Today I started cleaning the engine and took the side strips off, getting the glue off with goo gone. The only real exterior flaw seams to be the rear bumper which I of course want to replace and have a built in hitch.

This week I will take to a mechanic to get as much info I can on engine health. Then, eventually, small lift, wheels and tires, etc.

I look forward to going down the Jeep rabbit hole with Y'all!
