I just read your build from start to finish... all 78 pages haha. This thing is awesome.
I'm from Brigantine, so its cool to see people on the forum that are close! I see you originally lived in OC, and I was there last night!
Anyway, where do you usually go wheeling around here? I've just been finding spots around the woods here lol. A buddy and I want to make the trip up to Wharton soon and I think I saw that you posted about going there.
All in all, the build looks amazing! Keep it up dude

If I had a Turdy 5 I would have bought your gears a while ago lol. But damnit man I was just thinking I should have traded tires with you or something before you got rid of your jeep

Let the games begin!
First things first, I took the four screws out on each side and popped the lights out just to see how bright they were. I used my power probe and a battery.

Niiiiiiiiiiiice. I wouldn't wire them directly to your reverse lights. Wire them to a relay and use the reverse lights as the "switched power" would be fine. Just gonna suck running the hot wire all the way to the back of the jeep is all.

My XJ had aux reverse lights wired to the factory reverse lights which was nice because it was easy. They were halogen though. I opted for a switch when I put a D2 in the rear of my JK because of how intensely bright the LED lights are. I didn't want to have it just come on when there were other cars around or specifically police.

How would I wire this setup? That's what I'd like to do but I'm a little confused. I would have to find a constant hot to wire them to and then run wires to a switch ... That's what I'm thinking in my head. It should be that easy.... Right?

I got the bumper all painted up. It looks like brand new. Can't wait to get it on the jeep! I left it at work to dry but when I get there I'll post some pictures.
It's so weird working nights and posting up updates and having to wait till the daytime to get feedback lol

not the best drawing but i hope it helps

should I wire these bad boys to a switch? Or just tie them into my reverse lights? What do you guys think?
Now for a quick power wash
