All I've been doing is working my **** off... So much so that look what I've outfitted the jeep with... yes a toolbox lol. I have been doing a lot of side work on top of my two jobs but things are on the up. I'm glad to say I've finally got myself back up to speed money wise with the new house. And the jeep mods may continue.. I just didn't want it post about doing nothing to my jeep for 2 months. So i took a little break. That's all
The jeep has been very cooperative. It hasn't given me a single problem. The zj clutch mod has done awesome for me. I've never owned a jeep with such a great cooling system after that one. I cruise to work all the time doorless.. And love it... My freind loved it so much that we made his yotas doors come off too! That truck has come a long way... In these past few months. New floors, tuned her up, brake lines, fuel lines..
( and yes I rag on him anytime I can for driving an old pos rust bucket toyota. Lol)

Luke, I don't know how to feel about the claws... Sure I got them for a bargain I'm sure you all remember but I'll be honest... They are wearing fast.. The fronts anyway... In their defense, two out of the four were fairly worn when I got them, and we all know how the whole mud terrain that's driven mostly on concrete thing goes... Other than the wear (mostly upset Bc I can't afford new ones, lol) I love them and I'm going to run them until they no longer have any service life left in them.. Shoot I can probably sell 2 worn out baja claws for 50 bucks still lol
I'll take a pic tomorrow and we can compare from pics from when I got them back in the winter

Prepped the old girl for winter the other day, took out the 160deg thermostat ( was tired of freezing my *** off on the way to work lol) and out the 195 deg t stat in. Changed the oil, checked coolant mixture, which was still perfect from when I did my flush and v8 zj clutch swap that you guys might remember, and I even got to undercoat everything.
Everything has been great, just been driving her. But now that my second just has slowed down it's time to get back to work. I now work nights so if you see me posting on here from 11pm to 730am you know why lol

I have been helping my brother with this beast

She is an old 60s jeep j-3000 with a twist... The entire frame and drivetrain is all dodge. The frame was so badly rusted from the original jeep that we decided to go this route. The jeep also didn't come with a drivetrain. So we took a perfectly good 80s dodge and hacked it in order to give the jeep new life. Custom body mounts were made, new floor, lift, and a new wiring harness from headlight to taillight. We have the bed also

Are you running a stock airbox or have you upgraded to a cowl induction/open airbox?
I bought a Trail jammer kit but can't use the old air kit because I have the ABS controller in the way. Your truck is looking good!!!

I just read your build from start to finish... all 78 pages haha. This thing is awesome.
I'm from Brigantine, so its cool to see people on the forum that are close! I see you originally lived in OC, and I was there last night!
Anyway, where do you usually go wheeling around here? I've just been finding spots around the woods here lol. A buddy and I want to make the trip up to Wharton soon and I think I saw that you posted about going there.
All in all, the build looks amazing! Keep it up dude

Your XJ is always looking better and better Chris. Looks like you even painted the ridges on the air box lol Those little things definitely make this build stand out.
