Hole in the middle.
Now here is something. On the one I am trying to take measurement from there are 3 holes.
1 big and 2 small. Thing is on the one I had redone I don't see the holes.
And I am just noticing now. LOL. Hope they don't matter. MLOL.
So as far as you having to cut them I don't know what to tell you.
So I don't know what to tell you about the 2 little holes.
Also if I were you I would undercut the measurements a little, test fit the overhead (if possible), and then trim a little more.
Least you can do this on your bench before you cover it.
Like I said I don't really think the holes are super critical size wise. Just big enough to fit the overhead and not so big
that you can see them with the overhead in place.
I am hoping that this will be of use to you.
Cause I really don't know how to go about trying to show this.
I was hoping that the dome hole would be more visible to give a better point of reference.
If something is unclear or you need more say so.
Be more then happy to try and help.
I wonder if that large hole close to the rear has to be that large?
My OHC is pretty flat on the bottom. I was thinking all I had to do is cut a slot in the back for the OHC rear to slide into.
Doesn't look like it bolts to anything else.

I really appreciate all the measurements!
Give it a shot. Cut a slit a little wider then the flap on the back of the overhead.
Maybe 2 inches from its farthest point back forward.
See what happens.
If I were doing this I think I would cut that hole last.
I am not going to lie. I am glad that I got the overhead console headliner.
And decided to recover it then cut up my dome light one. Even with having
a overhead console headliner in front of me to use for position.
Pretty gutsy on your part to cut up the dome light headliner if you ask me. LOL.
I wonder how people do this without cringing every time they make a cut.
Especially without having an overhead console headliner right in front of them
to go by.
Hey if you can figure out if those 2 small holes should be there could you let me know.
I am wondering if the headliner I gave my guy is different then the one I used for those shots.
My guy is a pro. He is the go to guy in the area that all the classic car owners use.
Cuts me a bit of a break cause he is a customer of the auto parts store I work at.
I am almost positive that both are out of '99's.

Yeah. I think i'll cut a slot first, see if everything sits flush and see where holes need to be for wires.
I'll let you know.
Thanks again for all the help and info!
Hey remember how I was telling you that I was pretty sure I saw a picture where the guy just pulled off the cloth on the overhead and ran it like that?
Thinking this has no cloth on it either.
Also looks like a 2 wire visor harness which means from an '00 or '01.

More progress on the cage Friday.
My buddy already had the front part of the interior finished. The rear still has some diagonal pieces to add in.
We worked on the exo part of the cage while I was there. Got it all tacked together and set on top and the horizontal tubes really needed to be rolled to fit the body line at the top, so we broke it all apart and sett up the roll. I'm glad we did. Totally worth it.
Below are pictures.
Went and worked on the cage again Friday. It's all but done. All the tubework is cut and finished.
He's going to put a couple of gussets in, then weld out the Exo and cut the fenders. I'll be able to pick it up Friday and take the exo directly to powdercoat.
