Havent been on here much been a busy yr.

Just picked this up..not sure what is going to hapen with it



besides that been wheeling once this yr.. it was only at star, but I made Choker and Juggernaut on the hard side, and also went the furthest up on the RTI that day


The reason I havent been around much is my lil monster

Great looking truck! Glad to see you are alive

 

Title says it is a78. Originally bought as a parts rig for a project. Project is up on the air now.

Specs are
360 (less then 2 k miles since rebuild)
T18/ d20
D44 front and rear.


Body is rough, so truck body is scrap, but drivetrain is ready.

 

Wasn't sure if it was an early year of that front end design or not. Pretty awesome find!

 

Yeah the plan was to swap the drivetrain over to a YJ for a friend, but his deal on the YJ fell through


I was going to keep the grille and tailgate, and cut them down to fit on my truggy.


Now we are talking about building this into a low buck truggy. Nose the front, bob and dovetail the rear... maybe 37's leaf spring coil setup in rear. Who knows

 

Honestly, Pat, with you, the possibilities are endless.

Hey who from here is going the VA4wda Annual trail ride?

 

When is it?

 

14 and 15 of september at oak ridge estates. Definately good times

 

Alright I'm in as long as I can get tie points on my cherokee before then, hopefully i'll have my bumpers. I'll talk to a few other people to see if they want to go too. Sounds like it's going to be a pretty awesome time.

 

THis is VA4WDA big money raiser for the yr. definately good times. If you are a member of VA4wd its 85 i think.. not sure if you are a non member.


I will be rolling with MPJAI... I wont be hard to find... just look for a tan chop top... that looks beat down.

Wish I could go to this. Lack of $$ keeps me from many, many trips.
