looking for help trying to fix my Xj if anybody has an knowledge or how to fix it id be grateful.

I swapped heads, got it running, it ran perfect for about a day. Then just driving down the road I heard a bang that sounded external, next thing I know it starts misfiring like crazy. Then as I got it home I started to hear it misfire and backfire at the same time. I can't figure out what would be the issue. The head was rebuilt by coleman, I didnt mess with the timing one bit. Just can't figure out what would be causing it do that out of nowhere.

 

If your planning on wheeling it its prob going to get messed up more than once. lol i know mine did.

 

I say get the bumpers and 30 Rattle Cans if you want a paint job...

 

Dude i so agree I dont know how man you need but my whole jeep is flat black rattle can. I would definately spring for the bumpers or some other functional upgrade.

 

very well i guess i'll be getting a new set of bumpers then... i'll hold off on the paint job till this fall maybe or whenever i get a garage and just do it myself.

 

anybody interested in a local meet? Just gauging interest.

Why don't we meet when and where MPJAI does? Good group of guys and let's show them wrangler boys a parking lot full of Cherokees that would be awesome.

Kinda rude to crash someone's meet. It may not be a huge deal, but it's still rude IMO. I was thinking just hit something up close to ORF so it's fairly central for everyone. May 7th at 7pm? K-Mart parking lot on Norview/Military Hwy?

 

If I was home that Kmart parking lot is 2 min. from my house. Damn deployment.

 

Yeah im not all about crashing someone elses meet just think it would be entertaining. I dont see any problem with that. Just owners guests? Does anyone care?

well we wouldnt be "crashing" anyones meeting. its the MPJAI its a jeep assoiciation. we love seeing new jeeps show up. our saturday meetings are not our buisness meeting if you will just a little meet n greet hanging out checking each others heeps out. i for one would like to see more cherokees there. especially when i was looking for one i wanted to see some inperson to get a feel for them but only like 1 maybe 2 would show. you can ask pingpong hes a member too. anyways if we are going to be doing our own thing all segregated n all then i guess if im free ill show up, lol.
