Yeah, I know it's mainly Wranglers and just didn't want to possibly show some disrespect 'cuz I'm not a MPJAI member. If it's cool with the members for us to show then there's no need to segregate and we can meet up with them. When's their next non business meet? We can still do the 7th at 7 as well if everyone's cool with it.

Im with ya on that a jeep is a jeep. I just get to pull out my buddys wrangler all the time.

Anyone know when MPJAI's next meet is? Sounds like we're all cool mixing it up. We do that one and scratch the 7th or do both. What are you guys' thoughts?

 

i can do the 7th and so can nicky but it depends on the time and date when the mpjai meet is but if poss i can make both if not the 7th for sure

 

Just show up to the meetings or a coffee run. You wont crash the event. Basically most of us that show up are talking jeep, some of us are swapping parts. really low key.

 

As far as I know they meet up the first thursday of every month at Pomoco chrys/jeep in Hampton at 7:00..... And they also meet every saturday at 10:00 I believe at the duncan donuts on the corner of denbigh blvd and jefferson in Newport News

 

The first Thursday of the month meeting is where you can join. It's our official meeting but non members are welcome too. The Saturday meetings is for anyone really. We even have people driving by see us and swing on in and talk jeep, that's what it's all about. It's held every Saturday at 10:00 to about noon or whenever. Go to the website and check the clender as I think the third Saturday we do a clean up of our highway then meet there around 10:00. It's located at the dunkin doughnuts off Jefferson blvd just past hooters on the north side of 64. Come on out anyone and everyone. I for one can't make this Saturdays meeting, have to play military. But I plan on being there the following. Bring yours kids, dogs whatever. Hope so see more xjs that'd be great.

 

Coffee runs are a good place to meet ppl and talk shop. I dont make it to them very often due to the fact I live in the country, and the time/expense thing.

I show up every now in then in a stock looking MJ.. I should be back to one in 2 weeks... Need to go buy some shop supplies

 

I think we should meet up i.e. "me and mwdouglas" with you pingpong since me n mike live in gloucester and ur up the road in middlesex... talk some jeep shat. get ur imput on bulletproofing my font end and what I should go with. Mikes got some gremlins of his own too since I hear from a few others on the MPJAI site your the "xj guy"

 

Yeah You all can come on by just about anytime. I am still recovering from an injury suffered on a trip. SO long story short my garage and rig are a mess.

I guess I can qualify as an XJ guy, but I drive a MJ, have a MJ truggy, and an xj trail rig. Just shoot me a pm... and come on out... it wil be good times. I am amasing parts for my 231/231 doubler now... All I need is a 23 spline input gear and I can start building that.

Hopefully soon my buddy wil finish building his d44 so I can get his 4.88's from his d30... I will be one of the cool kids.. d30/d44 both locked and alloyed with 4.88's and a doubler I should be able to have a lil more fun with my junk then.
