Yeah I spent that long on the shackle mounting bolts. Then the rear shock mounts don't get me started lol. That and I'm doing other things besides the lift while I have it apart. Stil waiting on my wheels from th powder coating people too but should be finished by Friday I hope if I don't run into anyother problems.
I have had good luck with using PB blaster or similar on the shackle bolts. You can spray them directly if you take rear bumber out of the way. Also dont forget the front leaf spring mounts. I also found heating that area with a small torch to burn off the factory lock tight works well too.
For the front if you are not keeping the stock upper/lowers.. cut the lower out on 1 side ratchet strap axle forward instal new lower. repeat on other side. To do the top.. you need to cut drivers side.. the place strap on to the passenger side upper mount and ratchet forward.
I have dont his a couple of times if you cant tell

Hey guys, sorry I missed the meet (especially since I planned it).
For some idiotic reason I was thinking today was the 6th. Again, sorry for missing. We'll try another, hopefully get more than 2. Nice tire climbing though!
