Interior was pretty good except for the drivers seat. The leather was ripped up pretty bad, but I got him to drop the price another $200 so that paid for seat covers and some other odds and ends.

New 30x9.5 tires on it, are these too big for stock suspension? I was looking to put on a small lift but didn't want to do it quite yet.

Anyway, very happy with my purchase and hope to take it up the National Forest this weekend just to ride around some Forest Service Roads.

Very nice! The leather on the driver's seat being worn is really common so no worries on that. As for fitting 30's, I had 'em on mine when it was still stock and I only rubbed little bit at full lock while turning and then of course when the front end was fully flexed I rubbed on the flares, but not anything major. My personal advice, don't buy a lift until you save up enough for what you REALLY want. I did a 3", then wanted more, so I did spacers and shackles. Now, after running that set up for some time, I really wish I had simply gone with a 4.5" LA in the first place. I'm telling ya, do it right the first time. Now go join HRJC!

Thanks! Ya, I have to do some research, driving and saving before I worry about the lift.

What I do need to do sooner than later is add a hitch. Any advice there?

^^ This. the Pick N Pull on Sykes usually has a few XJ's that you could pull a hitch from. They've got 7 XJ's up there right now. CL has one pop up every now and again.

Thinking about buying the bumper from Nate4x4 with the hitch built in. I think it is only a class2 though.

I'll check into price from the junkyard, might do it if I can find oem. From the pics I see they seem pretty tucked away.

3 bolts per side up into the unibody rail. If it has the hitch, it most likely has the nut strips, which are definitely something to snag if you can.

If its been sitting for a few days, or sometimes randomly when I go to start it ill have power all the way up untill I actually try to start it. I lose all power and I don't hear anything, no starter, and no dome light. If I leave the key in the ACC position I have full power, everything works fine. I thought I fixed it with some new battery terminals but its still doing it.

I did a bit of a hack job on the battery cables to get it home from janaf, so I'm hoping that a new set of cables fixes it. Just got my order in with 5-90, soon as they get here ill hopefully have her back up.
