All of them ohm matched? That may be the issue. You should only have a difference of .03 ohm between the highest reading and the lowest on the whole set. It's a simple enough test and it's free. Also a good idea to go ahead and pull them and make sure they've been cleaned and have a steady flow and spray pattern.

Default Mirror mount, Passenger

Hi,
I am trying to source a passenger mirror mount for 1996 XJ. Cannot find one one locally (Hatteras Island).
It is nylon, attaches to door with 3 screws and the mirror clips into it.
Thank You

I'm going to the PnP this weekend so I'll see if I can find one for you.

Thanks Matt,
I enjoy the pick-n-pull on Sykes avenue. Scored some great stuff there but I rarely make it up that way.
It seems the mirror is also attached by a spring and wires. Those will have to be removed to get the piece I need.
They currently have 3 XJ's and 6 ZJ's on the lot.
I missed that January 25th Carova fund-run because it was my boys 4th birthday party. I went a few weeks ago and biked into False Cape and drove the trails around Pennys Hill. That's where the slalom trail is with banked turns, deep sand and a hill climb.

My dmm doesn't go to the hundreds, but here is the readings from the injectors, needless to say they are not ohm matched.
1-12.4
2-12.2
3-11.2
4-11.3
5-11.1
6-10.9

I still have my stock ones, they worked fine when I pulled em. I'm gona clean em up real quick, throw new filters in them and put them back in and see if that makes a differencee.

Yeah, that is a HUGE gap between them. I'm willing to bet that is at least part of the issue.

All the stockers were 11.8 except for one odd ball at 11.4. Gona make note of where I put that one. Cleaning up the old ones now and throwing em in, ill post back tomorrow on if at all any changes

That odd ball shouldn't cause an issue at that reading. Sorry on the earlier post, it was supposed to be 0.3, not .03 ohm difference between the highest and lowest readings.

Well swapped em out on Wednesday and so far it has only done it once in two days of driving. Id probably even venture to say that plug 1 is burnt up a bit so ill need to swap that out. But it has made a huge difference its running better.

Default Hatteras

You have it right. I only leave if necessary...
I would go wheeling in Sherando area (Big Levels, Shoe Creek) but I think conditions are not favorable right now. Need to call a friend in Waynesboro to find out.
