Master Air Brake Technician at Graham-White, Salem. 25 years service, 20 years perfect attendance.

I rebuild and test locomotive braking systems. I'm a certified diesel mechanic and a graduate of Nashville Auto-Diesel College.

For me or someone else? For me, no, I'm not a fan of a diesel for light duty vehicle. I can see the benefits but I just don't think its worth all of the hard work/money.

You could hop up a pre 2005 TDI motor. You would lose some of the mileage benefits, but it would be light and nimble and you could run it off WVO.
