Ran Potts with jeepsurfer yesterday. Trail looks great, weather was amazing and only one fallen tree that was easily moved by hand. If anyone wants to go anytime soon, post up, I'm always down and have the daytime free!

Hey guys. New to the forum but I figured this would be an appropriate place to post as I am the guy who picked up Zjjerk's XJ last November. I can't post a picture on here but it sits almost identical to when he had it. I bought a new set of 33x12.50x15 Cooper discoverer stt's through work and have done other minor mods like replacement headlight harness with Sylvania zxe headlights and angel eyes headlight housings. Next project will be Durango steering box and zj v8 tie rod along with main bearings and a new oil pump with gaskets all around. I am always up for wheeling. I live in Roanoke, work in Salem and can be seen everywhere from here up through Blue Ridge and out past vinton. My name is Trey. I'll try to post a picture later.

Welcome! I'm in SW Roanoke County, Cave Spring. I've seen your rig but I think it was when the PO had it.

So I've heard. Aren't you a member? I am in desperate need of wheeling and the collective knowledge on Jeeps and all things wrench related.

If your in need of wrenching help, I know I'm down for it, jeepsurfer1 is usually too but he's done alot lately and is ready for more wheeling then wrenching lol but this forum is the place to ask for Cherokee knowledge, but like I said give me a holler if you need a wrench hand!

Well I'm trail worthy right now but in the next week or two I'm running up to the pick and save in Lynchburg to pick up a couple parts like the v8 zj tie rod and Durango gear box but I'll probably come out with considerably more. So whenever i get some parts I'll give you a holler. I don't have the best work schedule so I'm usually more inclined to wheel. I want to run Pott's sometime soon.

it takes a major 4x4 to run pots, unless you take all the bypass's or enjoy body damage lol

I'm fine with body damage. Its already got some nice dings on it. Plus I'd probably wheel there with no doors which is half the body. Haha.

I'll be taking a few friends, lots of recovery equipment and plenty of tools and supplies. I've seen another buddy of mine struggling in a locked tj on 38s with a 10 inch long arm kit and i believe 4.88 gears. I'll try to have much fun as possible without losing important body panels or myself out the door. Haha.
