SW VA XJ's/MJ's, Roanoke/NRV to Bristol, post up!
NOVA is represented, Central VA is represented, Richmond-east is represented.
I thought I would start a thread for us SWVA Jeepers! After all we have more wheelin' spots but probably less internet connections. Its time to "come out of the woods" and post up!
I'll start;
xjtrailrider, Roanoke VA(from Franklin County), I wheel all over. Potts Mountain is my home trail but I also wheel at Harlan, Mt City TN, URE, Flagpole, Crozet and soon to go to ShoeCreek.
Affiliations; Southwestern Virginia Four Wheelers, Star City Crawlers, NAXJA, Jeepin.com, Jeep Commander Forum, JKOwners, ComancheClub and of course CF
My rigs;
The trail rig

My 1990 XJ, part time DD, never goes off road

My full time DD, a 2009 Limited Hemi Commander

My wife's JK, we call it the "Barbie Jeep" Wranglers are for girls!

The MJ, Currently "rolled" but we are fixing back to new and it will get painted black this time.

We have two more XJ's, both stock; a 2000 Classic and a 94 Country

Uhm! We know each other!
But any way.....
I didn't mean to not include other Jeep Peeps so also lets here from the ZJ/TJ/YJ/LJ/CJ/JK as well
Might try to do a meet and great some time soon if we can find a good central spot.

Blacksburg, VA!
The only trail that I have run around here is Potts - would have done more, but I went up to the Cove in September (or thereabouts) and completely wrecked my TC chain.
Anywhose, that's recently fixed and I'm ready to hit Potts again when it reopens!

Even though I don't have a picture of the xj on here yet.
Moved to Roanoke last year, work in salem, and I'm pretty sure I know who used to own that green zj.
I'm down for wheelin too, or even riding along cuz i'm stock still.

Alright! Keep the posts coming!
I've seen the lifted ZJ, I work in Salem. SCC has a bunch of XJ's on there but no one on that site wheels much except me, Hadfield and a couple other XJ's.
The SWVA4wd crew wheels a good bit.

Not really any trails here, just little mud holes and stuff.
He got his green card and got out with a full ride basketball scholarship to Ohio State back in the 50's, never went back. He said the school in Ieager taught the three "R's", Reading, Riteing, and the Road to Roanoke. So he moved to the 'noke after college.
