No, Just eliminate the TCU. The ECU ONLY controls the engine, it doesn't care about the tranny.

The $200 XJ survived its trip to its new home! Happy to be out of that overtaxed under wheeled land to the south that will remain nameless, Jerry rig is ready to start its life anew and we are certain of big things to come...I would post pics but my phone died before we got there and didn't get back til midnight. Also, if anybody knows of a car trailer for sale trade or comes across a deal on Craigslist, let me know. It was $150 to rent a uhaul trailer for one day!

Correct and when you swap in the brake/clutch pedal assembly you will have to hook up the NSS for the clutch pedal.

Why not just buy a XJ with a AX already in it?

I personally like the AW4 much better and with a Baja shifter it can be driven like a straight drive.

I finished painting the flares/bumpers on the 94, pulled the center console out of my wife's JK to clean up a spilled drink that was causing the shifter to stick (LOL), then put a CPS in my moms 2000 XJ. Just another normal boring Saturday.

Your a busy guy Jon. When does Pots open for the season? Case and I are trying to put this years offroading calender together. I just regeared mine from 3.07 to 4.11s and put a locker in the rear (front was done awhile ago). We still haven't gotten Case's cherokee to start.

I think it will be the first of April.

PM me about Case's XJ. Is it a "crank no start" condition?

I might be able to go. My wife has surgery on April 1 and I coach youth lacrosse. Those two things come first but if she feels better and I don;t have any games, I'm in!

Count me in. Maybe Case and I can get his Cherokee running in time too. This will give me a chance to try out the new gears and 33s.
