Where is the cheapest place in Central PA to get axles re-geared? I'm usually a do it myself kind of guy but gears are tricky.

Engine: straight 6 4.0

Cheapest place I found so far was ems of road in Danville 450-500 labor let me know I u find cheaper.

You guys talking about Jimmy here in York? I'm not sure what he and his guy would charge, but they are very trustworthy, upstanding guys. They helped me do my lift over the weekend.

For looking for someone to do my HP 30 regear I have axle removed and new carrier master install and ring and pinion just need someone for labor. Going from 3.55 to 4.88

200 bucks my buddy will do it. He did mine, and hundreds of others.

Man I just got these jks discos and put my sway bar back on for the first time in almost a year. I notice a huge difference actually. I'm not gonna take it back off lol.

For that price I'd definitely go to that guy to get my gears done. You said 200, is that per axle or for both? How much extra do you think he'd charge to do a master rebuild on an axle too?

Per axle, prices vary from axle to axle. Not sure, specify "master rebuild"?
