If you flex hard enough they pop like a zit. That's how I broke mine... I wish I was smart enough to put Plexiglas in when I replaced it.

First that was my XJ. as I recall I was on some rocks I tried to avoid the tree that was close by. Tree put pressure on the window frame and shattered.

i went to pull someone out. i was flexed pretty hard. i opened up my hatch and couldn't close it cause it wasn't squared up to close up.
