Yeah we only looked at it because he needed a winter beater, and wanted to spend as little as possible, and that fit the bill pretty well!

That is pretty nice, depending on whats going on with the motor, although it looks very clean, even the rockers look good!

 

It dont matter whats going on with the motor. For 500$ Id rather have a blown motors and solid body then a good motor and a rust bucket.

 

That is true, this rust is a PITA to deal with on my buddies, but we are finally just about done with the floors!
Then we will worry about rockers..

 

Im always afraid I miss some rust and it will come back quickly. It freaks me out! lol

 

Hah well we didn't do the best job, but it will work for him, its his beater Jeep...

Nice, make sure to look over it, then look over it again. Dont feel rushed cause you will end up missing something.

Check Foundation, Chimney, electrical, plumbing, joist, look for mold in area around kitchen and bathroom and under each, mold in the basement, window leaks. Etc. Im sure you know most of this but sometimes things slip. HAHA I know the hard way!

Haha hopefully that wasn't too hard of a way to learn...
But yeah our realtor is kinda my dads buddy so I have his second opinion plus the third opinion of his best friend who happens to live across the street from the house and is a Cleveland firefighter but does contracting on the side, is meeting us there tonight too!
So I hope we can't miss anything haha
And my sister/I are just about pre-approved! Still waiting on a few details but her bank lady said for a house this cheap its not a problem, only if we were looking over $90-100k

And I did not see any others in Westpark under $60k at least in that area..
