Why cant you keep them in your jeep? I have always kept spare shafts in my jeep. Just tie em down in the rear cargo area and forget they are there.

I got two 12" subs in the back with my hi-lift and few other things. How big are they I'd think they would be big..

Im guessing you have never pulled an axle apart, which means carrying shafts would not be beneficial seeing as how you would not be able to replace a broken shaft out on the trail.

Im thinking your jeep has an 8.25, not a d35. Unless you have ABS. I wouldnt worry about an 8.25 unless you wheeled really hard on 33s or evn 35s

Is there any marks on it that I could check it? Yea I only got 32"s and I don't do hard core wheeling. So I should get a locker for that axle if it is a 8.25?

Look at your diff cover. If its a complete oval with a fill plug that screws in, its a d35. If its oval but flat on the top and bottom and has a rubber fill plig, its the 8.25.

Check this out too
