yeah that is a pretty lame excuse indeed....
You should have come up with something more original like the traditional "no money" or "I have to work..." or even "hell why would I waste my time with you guys ?"

Lol but I care enough to make an excuse thats all that matters. I'm trying to figure out how I can get her to work go out then pick her back up but there won't be enough time.

it will be much easier if you look at bus schedule first and promise a little treat when you come back (and by promise I mean just promise... you don;t actually have to do anything because you are the man....)
