What about all your goodies you just bought? I haven't seen anything about that just a bit on fb when I had login. I post up my jy finds and bull**** like that. But since no one comes on here I haven't lately. Newest finds.
Dana 44 4.56 gears with a lock right. Not bad for around 70 bucks. Some newer window weather stripping. And some rain guards for the pre 97 that are like the old Chevy pickup, probably are then same.

Yeah, I hate the photo uploader on this site half the time it doesn't work.
I got a RE adjustable track bar, Warrior Products lower control arms, and an OPT7 50'' Led bar, 288w, 28800 lumens. theyll all be going on this weekend

Right and especially now since I got a new phone it don't even load the avatar pictures or even the regular pictures. I'll be curious about the light bar quality and performance. I won't do a big one like that but probably like some 12 inch and flush pods.

I'm still lurking. Seems like the 3 of us are pretty much the only ones around. Occasionally Alfreado will pop on. I've pretty much given up trying to find people to ride with on here. Been doing stuff with NM4W, lurking over at NMOffroad (they're heading to Mt. Taylor today, Monticello in Nov., etc).
I'm heading down to Cedro today with a group from NMOHVA, need to get a couple fix things in the next hour. Been busy getting a compressor and front bumper installed. Will post up some pics when I get a chance (still on my phone).
Here are a couple trips I've done up in Jemez with NM4W.

Seems like after the most recent official/No We Really Mean It notice about Puerco being closed went out, this thread has died.

There will always be debate of the puerco being closed. It's not really going to stop anyone from going. I haven't done anything the jeep had been going thru changes with axles and drive train. Plus my death wobble doesn't help very much either.
You should of texted me I would of rolled by to help with the bumper and everything else. Plus check it out too too see what new been done to it.

Like at 9pm.Got the gas tank skid up next, sitting in the garage waiting to test fit, be primed, painted and installed.
Let me know when you get to the SYE. I'm gonna' throw one on mine when I pull the front axle to get the truss welded on.

Hey, Jr. you seem to be spending quite a bit of time at the JY lately so I've got a question for you-
I've been looking at the options for my front end, and realized that I have a low pinion differential, which means reverse thread for my R&P. Rather than going through the effort to beef up a weaker than average Dana 30, I'm wondering if I might just be better of swapping the whole thing for D44.
Have you been noticing any Dana 44 fronts that I could swap my 30 out for? I'd really like it to already be set up at 4.56, what are the odds of finding something like that? What do you think they would charge me for it?

Nothing will just bolt up to the jeep without some fab work. Plus any 44 will usually be full size with either 6 lug or 8 lug. The only really way would be is to get waggy axles, so you keep one lug size. You'll be stronger were you can have bigger tires up to I think 39s maybe 40s. But you'll have to regear both axles and whatever traction device you wish. Keep in mind also waggy front are lock outs so a spool would be cheap and effective.
The other option is ordering a axle from 4wp or desert rat that is a 44 with 4.56 gears and ox locker. You'll probably be into it about 2500 to 3500 just for the front and really not upgrade very much, when you can do both waggy axles with rims and tires for about the same maybe a little more.
Jy axles are about $110 so finding out isn't hard, plus you can sell yours for what the cost of gears and possible labor too. The lp isn't a deal beaker but it's more prone to have vibrations and can get damaged easily as the yoke and shaft are closer to the rocks.
