I've seen it done my buds dad did that on his. Who is doing the welding of the brackets. I'm telling you plate the body first before you even start looking at bigger upgrades.

If you are planning on going to bigger tires at any point, don't bother with the lunchbox locker. The bigger tires (not to mention bigger gearing ratio required for bigger tires) will cause the lunchbox gears to heat up to the point where they expand and will blow apart the carrier and trash your entire diff at the least.
Ox has front lockers for about $900 depending on axle size, and rear lockers closer to $500-600.
If you plan on going to bigger tires in the future, save your money, upgrade the axles first, save up a little longer for the bigger tires. Big axles can run little tires, but a lunchbox locker won't run big tires for very long.

Nevermind but possible feeler for rear disc for 8.25. Rotors, calipers and pads and ebrake shoes with hardware have about 200 miles on them and are all brand new. Have about $250 into just looking to get my money back to build my 44 instead. The only thing you'll need is to figure out your own ebrake cables.

Anybody doing anything local this weekend (i.e. near ABQ)? Got some family stuff for most of the weekend, but could probably escape for something short and fun for a morning or afternoon.
I'd call hbracing13, but it sounds like his is still in pieces!

I can probably finish it up on Friday night if I set my gears up right and have no more problems with this axle. But still won't have 4wd till I do the front. That 4.56 with disc is a hell of a lot better for the price I've spend on this axle. When we throwing discs on yours? Mike and Matt being be down again.

Anyone go to the butte this weekend?
Unfortunately I saw a red four door with black on the lower half roll just outside of T or C this morning around 11
The driver was out and running after some dogs he had inside not sure if there was any other passangers. I was in the semi truck I drive for work so it couldn't stop to double check.
Had Mossy Oak sticker across the top of the rear window and some other stickers. Lifted black wheels

Looking to get out somewhere on Sunday.
Was thinking local to ABQ, maybe Cedro Peak in the morning. If anyone is up for it let me know.
Or if you are already heading out and willing to take one more, I'd love to tag along.

Jeep still down but not down. Hopefully doing my pinion and carrier bearings this weekend so I can have a discs back. Then gotta order sye and get driveshaft then start on the front axle. That's the plan but hardly works that way.
