Any chevy full size truck front line are 6 inches longer and are cheap or bend your steel line down and you'll gain about a inch or two. So for drive shaft jy is your best bet. You should be able to make it unless you catch a patch of soft sand but its not like there won't be someone there to push or grab you out.Originally Posted by XJmike0122
The same things I have been needing. Front DS and longer brake lines. I was just wondering if a 2wd could get out there fine?

Yeah I was planing on the Chevy lines just trying to get caught up on x mas bills. I have a jy shaft. It just looks pretty ruff but it was the only one I could find the day I went. I didn't know they cost so much to rebuild either.Originally Posted by hbracing13

I was just looking at it. It may not be as bad as I thought. The axle side needs a new u joint. It is missing 2 bearing caps and it needs a grease zirk. The cv side sounds like it still has grease in it.Originally Posted by hbracing13

Might as well replace the joints cheap insurance.Originally Posted by XJmike0122

I gotta be back by 2:30 which should be very possible. Can't miss the Broncos game haha. I'm seriously let down but the impending closure of the Rio Puerco. Myself as well as many of my friends own off road vehicles due to having such a cool resource in such a close proximity. With no where to off road legally within 2 hours I may switch back to cars, I don't have a lot of free time and I definitely don't have the option of making entire day trips or more likely weekend trips anytime I want to have fun in the jeep.
