The whole thing of build not bought can go a lot farther then that. **** id would do the same thing someone put the money into it and sold it for dirt cheap id snag it up for the right price. Its a hell of a lot cheaper to upgrade and sell the parts you have to get something even better.
your right that can go alot farther i think the point was even though we coulda bought one already built, we(or atleast I) specifically bought one stock so i could do all the work to it and build it myself despite the numerous cherokees that were already built. I do have to say that i thought long and hard about it first though and when i was first puttin the lift on had wished i bought it already done but im glad i built it up myself

Well im pretty sure lockers work by locking up ypur diffs so all 4 wheels get traction. And no one has really ever seen you do any thing fun in your jeep. You should probably stick to web wheeling, al might not be there next time to pull you out

I went to U Pull It and got all new steel brake lines to replace my rusty lines, and add my ss extended lines. I cannot decide on which color to paint my brake lines.

I was thinking purple, but which shade of purple? I want the maximum stopping power.
Lime green was my 1st choice, but I was told certain shades of purple will perform better.
Or should I epoxy them?

Painting them effects stopping power?

Yes! Depending on the color, thickness, and how much it deflects heat, it can greatly effect stopping power. That is why I need to know the correct shade of purple... I do not want to rip it all out and do it again.

Nope, that is my feet. I just got home from work and took my shoes off.

After reading on other forums, I am leaning towards the epoxy approach. It is durable, will reflect the heat, and resist thermal expansion pretty well.

This will give you a basic idea of what I am going to accomplish, the cost/benefit is minimal at best.
