Well FINALLY got rid of that geared/locked 8.25!! I don't know why it took so long.. It was a smokin deal..

Working on tightening up my steering.. What do you guys think about the Durango box? Or I read the 4 bolt Waggy box is good too. And maybe a small brace on the inside. 35s sure takes its toll!

Not much done yesterday, ran into a brake pad fitment issue. Basically...they don't fit.
Had to walk away from the axle cuz I was fixin' ta throw stuff....

your gonna be running chevy 1/2 ton calipers, chevy knucks, chevy spindle, ford hub, rotor, and inner c?..........i assume.....


the pads not fitting in the caliper, or over the rotor? or???

5 on 5.5, hi-steer, Ford hub and rotor, chevy caliper, caliper bracket and pads.

The darn pads won't go over the rotor, I can't even get them to go past the caliper bracket.

Did lot's of research before I started and gathered all of the parts before starting. Now my heep on jackstands in the driveway......

I'll be over on pirate if anyone is looking for me.....

yeah, thats wierd.
i have done the same parts on many d44's without issue.

i will search around and see if i can come up something for ya frank.

i havent done it on a d30, but you would figure all your outer components would go together exactly the same.
