What is a colorado pinstripe?

 

The nice little scratches that the shrubs and trees in the wonderful colorado mountains put down the side of your jeep.

 

Yup. You know what's funny I painted mine, took the doors off for wheeling and now the entire sides of my jeep are co pinstriped except the front doors.

Well I am welding up my flat belly pan as I type this. I am hoping to get it on by tonight or at least by weeks end. Time for a real shakedown run. Maybe spring creek on Friday. Still soooo many connections on the cage to finish welding. About 25-30 in position welds to go!!!! Pics of the belly pan tonight. She runs great on the road and flexes like mad on the trail. Need to see how she does on the rocks after she gets armored up again. Chinaman soon??

 

Yeah, I'm trying to get my POS going again. Bout to order rod ends from Frank to re build the steering, and I'll put in the glass at some point. My folks are coming out, and we are going to spend some time in Breck, so I wont get shnit done this weekend...maybe next...maybe!! LOL!!

as soon as my sliders are done, im down to wheel any weekend. prob 2 weeks out cuz im going on a little vacation next week. but i need a shakedown run myself.


we should get together another bacon express wheelin camping trip in august. i didnt go to the first one, and would like to meet some of you guys and your jeeps.

Planning on hitting up CMG on Sunday..

Going camping with some friends and leaving Fri night.. Sunday morning, planning on going to CMG.

 

Thinking about hitting ram offroad park or something semi difficult

 

my buddy has been bugging me for about a year, that he wants me to help him turbo his cherokee. sooooooo, last night i was taking a look to see how to build up and down pipes on his jeep........gonna be cake!!(or so it looks).


so looks like im gonna be starting a 4.0 turbo thread soon......and im sure once his is turboed, mine will be soon to follow.

we decided on a wrx top mount intercooler, and a wrx hood scoop.

i will let you guys know when i start the up and down tubes. should only be a couple weeks.

super excited to do something new, that i havent done. tuboed my old subaru impreza, but never a jeep.
