Sounds fine Kyle! Will still be nice and dry up there.

We haven't gotten together this year yet!

Its a 92 4door ford explorer. I have tried many, many times, to convert him to jeeps but this was his first 4wd so he will never get rid of it! (We are quite the opposite!!!)

I dig it though. No one has one like his....that's for sure.

I'm in the market for a SYE but the only thing is is I have a 242 t-case. I'll get a 231 later I just don't have the funds for a new t-case at the moment. Has anyone run across one for a 242? I've been lookin at this I just have my doubts

ordered my ruff stuff specialties heims yesterday...decided to try them out instead of my usual, ballistic fabrication. prices were too good to pass. got enough for a drag link, tie rod, and track bar.

i just bought a track bar and drop brkt about a month ago, but with the new truss and steering, it must also be redone.

whooo hooo....i may actually get a real wheeling trip in this summer!!

on a side note.......i dont ever want to do valve cover gaskets on a ford explorer ever again!! knocked my bros out yesterday, and man was that a long day. you have to have midget hands to get down in the engine bay anywhere! took me from 11am to 5 pm.....a jeep takes me an hour or less. i was trying to get his ATLAS II t-case in to, but just not enough time. i will do the t-case one night this week. working on my axles today.

If you have a 231 then that'd be very much appreciated but if not, I'll stick with the 242 for a while n get the dirtbound offroad kit. I thought about the RE sye but I can't bring myself to buy it when I can get it cheaper elsewhere haha

the wonderful previous owners hack job.

1/4 of the new shop i will be woking out of very soon....

my bros explorer i did valve cover gasket on this weekend. adding ATLAS II t-case this week....solid axle swap in the winter. he has had this thing since 1996!! HUDFAB bumpers and sliders.

and last but not least.....my new track bar mount and progress on the hp d44. tb mount is a mix of 3/8 and 1/4 inch steel.

so all in all, i had a very productive weekend. i also got my garage cleaned out. i just need to get the rat jeep turd out of my garage so i dont have to look at it anymore!! heims should be here wed-fri!

if all goes as planned this week, axles should be in by sunday!!!!!!!!! wish me luck fellers!! and maybe a wheelin trip on the first weekend in sept!?
