I kinda always through coils front and rear was the best way to go... Anyone have any insight they wanna chime in, pros and cons of each, coils vs. leafs front and rear...

SEARCH!!!!!!

Really, its just personal preference. They each have their pros and cons.

Coils flex more, leafs are more stable and predictable IMO....

4-links have a bunch of parts that wear out quickly(joints)....leafs only have 4 bushings.

I can find all four leafs in the jy for $100 .......4-link long arm lift will cost $1500 plus.

There are a million debate threads on which is better, on pretty much every 4x4 forum......And also a bunch of people that ask why......cuz I can, thats why!

I have to put an engine in the thing first. Got one out of a 2000 xj with 110k for $300.

And my biz partners has a couple engines to do aswell right now, so I prob wont start working on this for a couple weeks. Gives me some time to gather some parts.

Silver jeep was gone last week.....I didnt even have to swap in that 9 inch with detroit or re-gear the front!

I declared a mental day yesterday and spent a few hours pulling the engine on my new jeep. Got it all done, just need to pull the motor mounts.

Im not diggin on my new toyota....so its gotta go!
