Going to weld my t case skid plate back together!! I broke the weld all the way down the side. Gonna add some trussing and make it stronger. Plus I have to drill and tap all the holes where the bolts sheared off!! good project for the weekend. Plus I found this on line. I think I am gonna buy it if it's cheap or make it if its not!

You need to manufacture some sort of skid to protect those TC bolts. You were lucky that one bolt held long enough to get off CMG. That could have been a major problem.

Had a good time tonight. Not as bad a shot, as I remembered.

Picked up a new coil and tps sensor for the xj. Hope that's it.

Installed the coil today and it didn't change a dam thing

Had the codes read, and nothing came up for starting problem, but I got code P0758 shift solenoid. I think that explains my trans problem, but from searching forums and such, some say tcm.. I read I can go to jy and pull the solenoids from a used tranny, but you have to keep dropping pans til you find the same solenoids.

So if I can, I'll hit up the jy tomorrow and try to get that CPS installed...
