I agree kyle! I have to hang out with the denver fire dept all day for a final inpection.

Got my buddies front bumper and my new front bumper built on saturday. Starting my rear tonight. I keep forgetting my camera, so you will just have to wait on pics!

 

Yes I did. At my own business, Dannan's Yard Service, at that time it was a sole perpitorship. Now it is a LLC, with D&D excavation. So yea 50-60 hrs with the books to prove it. Now I want the tools, one day....

so last night i was bending up some tube for my rear bumper. i got the first piece all bent up and went to go test fit. looked to the end of my driveway and low and behold, THE POLICIA!!!! i had two cops walking up my 100 ft driveway.

i asked if i could help them and the said they would like to talk to whoever was working in the garage. this was at about 530 pm so i got a little pissed and looked at my hand as if i had a watch(dont have a watch), and asked if i wasnt allowed to work on stuff when the sun starts to set(knowing i can make noise til 10pm around here)

they said that there was a complaint from my ''neighbors'' that i may be running a business out of my garage. and they wanted to see what pneumatic tools i was using.

well i have one nieghbor that doesnt like me, and calls code enforcement about 8 times a year. i simply walked them back to my garage, showed them i was working on MY jeep, and showed i am not running any business out of here.

they tried questioning the crap out of me, trying to make me stumble on my words, but i have dealt with the law too many times to fall for it.

i told them if i wasnt breaking the law, i would like to get back to work on MY jeep! they walked away and told me to have a nice day.

good thing i work on others junk at the shop now!!

so moral of the story, people need to mind their own business!!... be a good neighbor......talk to someone before you call the police on them.....remember, you have to live next to them.


i have had some sort of authority at my house 9 times this year alone....all for working on my jeeps.......and not a single sitation.

at what point is this harassment?

I'm thinking my pitman arm is going to break sending my truck thru your neighbors front room, I'm going to need some armor first but we can make it in your garage and she gets to listen! It's a win win!

 

haha!! she is just a miserable ol hag. she is really just making more crap in her life. I just don't like the fuzz showing up at my house. Its kind of embarrasing. I guess its about time to move.

 

Nah don't move, file a complaint against her if you know who it is, stating that on multiple occasions (citing date and time they just showed up recently) the cops were dispatched to your house to investigate the same accusations and not once have they found anything to cite for and that you feel harassed at this point. Get the cops to go to her and tell her to back off, as long as you're within noise regulation that's crap and you shouldn't have to move.

i have some neighbors that used to call the cops on me all the time for djing.. i would play my music loud during the day, but at night, not as much cuz i knew it was warranted. wow.. just realized i havent touched my decks in mos..

 

Great idea lady....**** off your neighbor!! When you leave her azz in a ditch during a snow storm, she will regret this foolish behavior! I have made it a point to meet all of my neighbors, and tell them I work on my stuff all the time. If they ever have a problem, please let me know, and Ill knock it off! This is right after I have offered to help witb anything they may ever need....keep you freinds close, and your neighbors closer!!!

 

so yesterday was prob the worst day i have for a few years. got a call from code enforcement stating i must have a meeting with the police, code enforcement, my neighbor, and my landlord. that should be fun.

at my day job, we are downsizing dramatically right now. i work for my fam, so im not too woried about losing my job, just stressful that others are. i have been moving our offices for the past couple days.....and i have a bad back!

i wont go into the rest of my day, as it will just be a lot of whining....just ran into some financial issues. the xj may have to go.....

as far as the neighbor goes, i will just move and let her "win". i have been dealing with this for over 2 years and im finally over it.

i guess, fock thursday?
