Ok in the next week or so my plan is to take my xj down to have an ARB installed front and rear, no 231 SYE and have the drive shafts balanced...

I'd say yes, that's better. Do you have a hose clamp on both ends of that hose? When I installed my new radiator I didn't put a clamp on there because the original didn't have one... it leaked. Try it, they're cheap.

It saddens me to see a pile of new parts(diff covers, Aussie locker) sitting on my floor that I don't have time to install
