There was something binding then popping when id drive in 4wd and we all couldnt figure it out everything looked as if it was turning properly. So I said fawk it lets just wheel.

All I was doing was driving straight up this little hill and my front just went boom and I fell down the hill.

My pinion sheared all teeth and took about 4 teeth off the ring gear. When I popped the cover off it looked beautiful but I guess I was wrong.

 

Good times!! I bet you learned from that, never wheel when anything makes noise or binds.

 

Once i lift my rig and IF it gets driveline vibes, i am parking it untill i buy a SYE and drive shaft.

 

Oh yeah it really was a blast. I knew something was gonna break but just didnt care. I came out to have fun. No point in trying to save something that is breaking anyways lol

 

So what your saying is I should get an SYE puck? Lol

Anyone with a renix cherokee on the northwest side of town? Like Cheyenne and Durango area. I need some vacuum help if anyone would be willing to let me take a look at theirs. I can't remember where all my vacuum lines go and I haven't been able to find a good diagram.

 

how are you able to get out of there who pulled you out?

see that's my only problem with it, if you knew you were gonna break then you place somebody else's rig in jeopardy. I know good friends will pull you out but even amongst friends man.... I don't know that's just me I guess.

 

Well I got the shackle angle as good as I can for being stock shackles, will upgrade those after gears. But, slowly but surely she is a coming.

 

Nobody pulled me out. I just drove the jeep out.... the damage wasnt detrimental to the drive ability of my rig. There wasnt any possibility of damage to another persons jeep. I think it is just you.

 

Yeah, it's just me. I didn't realize you got yourself home...sounded like you broke, rolled down the hill, then were dead in the water. But apparently not. Nice job getting yourself home.
