Well, that tells me you gave up on the Sliders? LII still hasn't got back to you after two business days and a weekend? If so, I won't waste my money with them either. I'll install my suspension gear as-is, see what kind of lift and rake I have, then decide with relocation brackets to get. Either HDO no-lift, or Ironman Ultimate. The only issue I have with the latter is that it pushes me awfully close to a 3 inch lift in the rear, and I really only want 2 inches.

Anyhow, from the picture it looks like your shackle angle is good, so you made the right decision.

new bumpers aren't in the cards for me for a while, so i went the budget route and dropped my stock ones off at my friend's powdercoat shop to be clean up and re-coated.

I actually did hear from him today. A very nice email.

Jared,

I apologize, I think I missed this one. We are on our way to California and things got a little hectic.

This is the first time I've seen this issue with our sliders. I can't access our system right now, but when did you order these? Trying to see what generation they are.

There's a few things we can try to remedy this problem. The first is obviously to replace them with a fresh set. The other is to open up the holes in the boxes slightly. Neither is a good option for you so I'm hoping we may be able to find the culprit before doing anything.

Would you mind taking some pictures of the sliders flush against the frame rail with only the shackle bolt installed? I want to see how the bolt holes end up on the frame side without bolts in place.

I apologize for the inconvenience. As I said I want to get you fixed up as easily as possible. The parts are supposed to fit and I'll make sure they do.

Thanks,

Ok, that's a big relief to hear. I'll give them a shot. I tweaked my back again though, so I'm going to wait until I can work on my jeep again. Sucks too because I have a big pile of boxes with parts that need to get installed.

it sounds like a fuel issue. three things any vehicle needs fuel, heat, and air. start with simple things check your air filter make shur that is good. Then follow your fuel lines looking for cracks or holes (you should notice the wet spot if there is one). depending on your year it may be the distributer cap, or plugs and wires. it may also be the fuel filter if I remember correctly jeep put those in the fuel tank and not inline. when working on a vehicle always start simple no need to tare your motor apart when all you needed was to replace a fuse.

Me either, but if you just delete the quote it looks like a fresh post
