So I think I need a brake job as well. For some reason I was driving to work this morning and was getting a HORRIBLE grinding noise. It was loud and totally metal on metal. I'm thinking my front right caliper is starting to seize. I'd like to do a rear disk conversion too

I heard it was night and day difference so I jumped on it because it's hard to slow down 33s lol

Got new 4.5 inch coils from allusion on Sunday. Now all I need is extended brake lines, track bar, and shocks.

Ya it is... Especially when only your front brakes work... Rears are missing most of the hardware so the don't engage properly.

Lets just say I have to start slowing down much earlier than most people

Would you guys say these have enough meat? Also does the rotor look like it has a weird wear ring? I can't tell if my caliper is staring to seize.
I might end up replacing everything. Caliper, pads and rotors to see if it's something with the caliper. Anyone recommend a good upgrade?

Clean and grease the slide pins on the caliper first.

Both sides like the pic? Check the inner pad too. Those would be the first to go if the caliper is seized.

Rotors definitely getting hot.

How does the knuckle look where the pads rest? Is there a big groove or not?

Could just be rotors too thin and pads getting low...
Easy way to check for stuck /sticking slide or piston is to actually stick a screw driver/pry bar in between inner pad or in between fins on rotor and push towards piston, if it gives even a decent amount of tension something is binding.

Inner pad may have a bit less than the outer, but not much
