Cleaned up an installed the NSS. It was pretty dirty inside and out after 240k miles. Now I don't have to wait for unexpected no starts
!!
Got in the jeep, started it up, I hear a CLANK CLANK CLANK GRRRRRRR so I shut it off immediately. Open the hood and see a hose wrapped in the mechanical fan... So I pull it out and no damage really. I look around and see that the coolant overflow/breather hose is missing so I reattach it. I will probably relocate the little slot they have for the hose to go through because it is right next to the mechanical fan. I guess it just somehow got caught in the fan
it is running fine now though.

I gave the winch a little much needed love last night. After picking up the brand new 100 ft. 5/16" winch cable from Mr. Timmy (OleBlue) on Sunday I was set. So last night I pulled the end cap off my winch and to my surprise about a cup of rusty water ran out the end. So, what I thought would just be lubing up the engage/free spool switch, ended up being clean that whole end of the winch and gear drive out and re-pack it all with fresh grease. The engage/free spool switch works nice and smooth and easy, now. I think the winch might even be a little more quiet, too. Next I removed my Haus Fairlead and installed the Roller fairlead I had sitting on the shelf in the garage. Then, I got the new cable all spooled onto the winch drum and Bata Bing Bata Bang......ready to go wheeling again!!!!
