What did you do to your XJ today??
In Dec. when I lifted my turd I put it back together and the track was off . I drilled the axle bracket that worked till I replaced the track bar while chasing down a bump steer gremlin . Well the new track bar I bought from Rock Auto was fricken longer ...
!
Sooo I said screw it I'm getting an aftermarket adjustable !
I did figure out my bump steer issue and holy sheep**** does this thing drive nice now ..... Not like trying to herd cats !
New aftermarket Lower control arms with new bushings .

Removed rear bumper, hitch, skid plate and pulled factory nutstrips. Tomorrow I'll cut out my shackle boxes and install my new lo profile shackle boxes to adjust my shackle angle without adding any lift.
pulled the front bumper off today to start making a winch bumper, and found out the passenger side took a hard blow and pushed the frame back 3/4 inch. a chain come along and a torch I was able to get it close enough to work with.

Did the High idle mod to my XJ. Increasing idle will also increase alternator output and cooling system effectiveness when your sitting not moving. Works great if your getting ready to winch someone and you don't want to sit in the rig and hold your foot on the pedal. Even if you have a 136Amp alternator your not getting that at idle. I'm not sure what RPM you get peak output at but the higher the RPM the better. Also works good if you just got to the top of a trail and you want to get out and BS with some guys, you can just flip the switch and let the cooling system run at a little faster pace, cooling it quicker.
