Got the bumper all coated up ready to install.

Spray on bedliner texture. Had really good luck with this stuff on my roof rack. Hopeful it holds up a little while, if not it's getting powder coated.
finally changed out the valve cover gasket. found out why my ebrake wasn't holding. cable had came off inside the drum. then cleaned up the air line running into the tank for the o.b.a.. then mounted the lights on the rack and front bumper. was a good day. wife didn't even get mad being it was easter and all. heck even had apple cider beer with rib eye steak and eggs brunch.

Ok, worked on the receiver today. For reference for some. If you have the tank skid, you have the nut strip. The receiver I had does not fit between the frame and skid, so you have to put the skid on first, then the receiver. Those bolts are on there GOOD. My impact [albeit just a cheap Campbell-Hausfeld] couldn't break them loose or even loosen then after they were broken loose. Also, the receiver uses different holes than the tank skid does, one of these holes was present in the frame, but not in the tank skid, so I will have to drill it out later. This of course means that the nuts in the nut strip you need are rusted to the gills and almost impossible to tighten. Mine are still loose, but in there good enough to hold it, even if it can wiggle a bit. I am going to order new nut strips [anyone know where to get those?] and reinstall it with fresh hardware.

Oh and I also got my front diff fluid changed out today. Now Royal Purple 75w-140 in both diffs

Jcr's nut strips are beast. I have all the confidence in the world when it comes to using my hitch with them.

I was looking at these, they are $40 a set, but look pretty beefy. Hopefully the 1/2" hardware fits in the holes. Not that I can't drill, I'm just lazy haha.
